Innovative Engineering Solutions, Inc. (IESI) completed the Engineering, procurement and Construction for a 5,999 kW solar array for Kearsarge Energy in Chester, MA. The property was formerly farm land that had not been used for many years. Working closely with the local municipal light department and Western Massachusetts Electric Company, a 3-phase conductor install/upgrade from the substation was necessary to allow interconnection. The Net Metered project was installed in 3 months start to finish, with nearly 20,000 solar modules, 12 week lead times on certain equipment and starting with a Berkshire Mountain spring that included snow on the ground, frost, then a New England muddy spring, this project was an accomplishment!
